Topical Limerick a Day

This story in today’s Huffington Post just had me inspired. Leading to the following, first-on-this-blog double-limerick commentary.

Forgive me for holding a pure grudge,

But I’d like to give more than a sure nudge,

To this corporation,

Still screwing our nation,

By walking away from its mortgage.

Whereas you or I not making payments,

Makes them see all of us as mere claimants…

Against all of those,

Who’d gladly take clothes,

And leave us with barrels for raiments.
